September is Hunger Action Month
ACT NOW TO HELP END HUNGER
This September, take action to support our neighbors facing hunger. Your monthly commitment will help remove the stress of choosing between food and other life essentials.
Together we can end hunger.
$10 a month fills your neighbor's empty pantry with nutritious food
Your donation to Helping Hands directly impacts the community. By becoming a monthly recurring donor, your $25 can feed a family of four for a month.
About Helping Hands:
Helping Hands is Skagit County’s largest direct emergency food provider. Many of our participants are working yet are unable to meet their basic needs, including food.
Helping Hands is more than a food bank. We are a full-service solutions center with a mission to nourish our community with kindness and respect and without judgment.
Our Solutions Team has DSHS-trained staff members that can help participants sign up for much-needed assistance. We offer Job Skills Training, Mobile Food and participate in Grocery Rescue five days a week.
As a nonprofit organization, Helping Hands networks with local food providers and community organizations in order to provide the best services possible. We are only able to provide the support we give because of the generous support from our community.
