WANT TO DOUBLE YOUR DONATION? Who wouldn’t!?

At our Leaders Inspiring Leaders event, we have several donors who want to help you do just that. With $64,600 in funds to be matched, NOW is the time to make your gift go further and support our community members in need.

Not only will your gift go farther, but you can also choose where you want your impact to go!

If you have a heart for kids and want to support no child going hungry on the weekend, you can choose to have your donation support the CHOW Program.

If you want to help build the confidence of a fellow community member who is building job skills to join or re-join the workforce in Skagit County, you can donate directly to the Job Skills Training Program.

If you want to support outside of the box, creative thinking which helps people beyond the needs of food, choose your donation to benefit the Solutions Team.

If you would like to help a woman no longer have to worry about where she will get her feminine hygiene products or want to take the stress off a family who has to choose between laundry detergent or food, your donation to Non-Food Life Essentials can make those things happen.

And if you just can’t decide which one speaks to you, you can always donate to our general donation, which will be double, too!

As an organization, we are grateful to the sponsors who are making this fantastic match possible and to you, our donors, for supporting the community we all love so much.

Thank you to our match sponsors!

About Helping Hands:

Our Mission is to nourish our community with kindness and respect without judgment.

Helping Hands is Skagit County’s largest direct emergency food provider. In 2020, we distributed over 7 million pounds of food to over 700,000 individuals. Each week, we served an average of 3,000 families, 2,000 Cutting Hunger On Weekends (C.H.O.W.) bags a week, and 250 Mobile Food boxes. Many of our participants are working, yet are unable to meet their families basic needs, including food.

Helping Hands is more than a food bank – we are a solution center. Helping Hands has a DSHS-trained person on staff that can help participants sign up for much-needed assistance. We offer Job Training and Internships as well as participate in Grocery Rescue six days a week, eliminating approximately 22 carbon footprints each month.

As a nonprofit organization, Helping Hands networks with local food providers and community organizations in order to provide the best services possible. We are only able to provide the support we give because of the generous support from our community.
